The creek is from Chester Lake that is currently frozen. The hiking trail is popular by hikers in the summer and falls - this area can be closed due to grizzlies roaming around in this part of Kananaskis. In the winter, you can find two trails, one for snowshoeing and another for cross-country skies. Get there early during the weekend because the parking lot fills up quickly. Enjoy the outdoors because it is beautiful. The Canadian Rockies are majestic and fragile.
