Calgary is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city at the foothill of the Canadian Rockies. The City of Calgary is surrounded by numerous skyscrapers and with new opportunities filling those buildings. For many years, the City of Calgary hosted large oil and gas companies and was the centre of Canada’s oil industry. The city of Calgary earned it the nickname “Cowtown,” evident in the Calgary Stampede, its massive July rodeo and festival that grew out of the farming exhibitions once presented here. This evening, the City of Calgary was bustling with people making their way to the downtown core. COVID-19 may be part of us, but Calgarians know how to keep the City of Calgary alive.

The golden light meets the cold blistering wind at -35 degrees Celcius. Canada may seem a cold place during the winter, but it's really not ;), you just need to adjust :) Those smoke stacks show how cold it is.
