Finding the Right Composition

Have you ever planned a photography trip to a specific location, but when you got there, you had many challenges finding the right composition?

If you even scene photos of Moraine Lake, there are thousands of photos with the same view. The typical view of Moraine Lake is; a pine tree on the right, a couple of trees in the middle, and a tree on the side of the frame.

We walked around to find a great original location, and with a magical view, we struggled.

Here is my take of Moraine Lake;

4-minute exposure
10x ND filter
Fujifilm medium format 50r with the 32-64mm lens.
